  1. HD Customer

I got this lath to fix some failed stucco. The original galvanized lath rusted and disintegrated due to water impregnation which caused loose and cracking stucco. I was very happy working with this lath due to the light weight, self-furring, and ease of cutting. It’s sharp when cut but not as sharp as galvanized metal lath. Wear gloves and take care.

    Spiderlath is great
Spiderlath is easy to handle and very easy to install. I personally prefer this to galvanized mesh as this product resists the acid that is produced from masonry. It is very strong the furring strips are delicate and glued to the mesh, but the strips give you a guide of where to install the screws. I personally use Scrail’s to hang this. I can hang this in no time compared to wire lath and the fact that it comes with furring strips is a game changer speeding up installation time.

  3. Frederick

    Spiderlath is the best product
I have purchased both the 300 sq foot and the 100 sq foot rolls. I highly recommend this product the furring strips are adhered to the mesh and must be handled with care but the light weight and flexibility and the fact that it resists the acidic moisture produced from masonry make it a must for contractors.

    Easy to install, very sturdy
I’m in the process of doing my whole house with stone veneer, and really like this lath. I don’t have much basis for comparison, but the mason I’m working with has been very impressed, and has said he’d use it in the future instead of metal lath. I’ve found it easy to install, sturdy, and the scratch coat over it is solid with no cracks developing.

  8. John M. House

    Very easy to work with.
I haven’t applied stucco yet as the temperatures are below freezing, but bought this product to see if it would be easier to use on the small, irregular shaped portions of my project, and so far it is. Way easier to cut. Bending it to shape is a little harder as it doesn’t hold shapes well, but the trade off with ease of cutting is worth it in my opinion. I’ll update my review once I put on the stucco.
BTW, 4 stars instead of 5 simply because I haven’t fully used it yet.

  9. Linda Zosso

Easy and quick way to put stone on anything!
Amazing! love love love it! Easy and quick to use!! We did our entire house in stone with Spiderlath and used Toolcrete sprayer to spray on the mortar and one fourth of the time it would take doing it by hand! Neighbors were in awe!!!
